All we’re trying to say around here is, do the things that make you happy. Don’t let that voice of reason come in with CANTS and SHOULDNTS. You have enough hours in your day (especially today) to make time for something that makes the sides of your mouth turn up. We have all these things we “HAVE” to do, tricking us into believing we don’t have time for happiness.
Possibly the most important thing us (overworked unhealthy stressed out Americans 😉 can learn from the Asian culture is that massage is not a luxury it’s a necessity. Imagine how different things would be if your crazy boss, high-strung mother, or YOU treated yourself to an hour of relaxation every couple of weeks? Now, I’m well aware of the costs of an hour at the spa, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s GOOD FOR US and
Sydney Opera House (Sydney)
Just stepping foot in this amazing work of art feels like an honor. I’m not a big architecture buff, but this place made me jump for joy. I guess anything with a shell inspired shape would (although some say it’s an orange?). This time last year I was in Costa Rica with Kayla and 4 other friends. We were sun kissed and smiling, packing ourselves into the main street of Montezuma to bring in 2011. Whenever I find myself in these epic situations I wonder how we actually pulled it off. Traveling over the holidays is so expensive, plus I have to get a few extra days off or travel horrible hours in order make the most of my vacation, which brings me to all the planning. Ugh. It’s so easy to just… stay home.
