This New York Times Article touched on the recent history and risks of females traveling. It had me re-living all my enjoyable adventures with me, myself, and I. There is a beauty in the discomfort of solo travel that’s left me with many lessons and many more stories.
Happy Holidays LLYOVers! We hope this holiday season will bring you a little staycation or vacation! We have rounded up some of our favorite must-haves for your holiday getaways. Snow or Sun, below you will find some our essential cargo for travel:
No oppressive boss, nagging vacation rules or arid cage, that some like to refer to as a cubicle, to clock into. No particular need to shower, change out of your sweatpants, or trudge through another stale commute. Just road-trippin’ and passport stamping, with a lap-top in tote.
Freedom to work, play, and for God’s sake, dress as you please. Freedom to wear PJs ‘til noon and take a mid-day beach, museum or 3-hour café break.

I just returned from a few days in Vegas for a dear friends bachelorette party. I haven’t been to Vegas in a couple of years. To be honest, it’s not my cup of tea or I guess I should say bucket of pina colada. I’m happy to report I had a BLAST and of course had to share a few ideas for making the most of this landlocked cruise ship.
Here are are few of the highlights from my last trip to the city that doesn’t sleep…….
We can all agree that booking the ticket and sitting on the flight are probably the less desirable parts of our vacations. Unless you have a Black American Express Card you are likely going to spend a great deal of time prowling the web and speaking with Airline employees or the machines that pretend to be people (hit 0 and you eventually get someone on the line…sometimes).
Every now and then you may find yourself fortunate and have some $ to spend and need a quick fix getaway. This post may come as no brainer to some of you web savvy folks, but for those of you not savvy in the ways of booking a fancy all-inclusive or last minute getaway allow me to enlighten you….
