I am lying in bed sick with a cold and stomach flu with my terrier, Elfie, at my feet, and just read almost every page LLYOV. After which I tried to roll over for a nap, but was too restless with lingering fascinations of this mantra to doze off. Like you, I have caught the wanderlust and it is the reason I am laid up in this bed.

I have managed to rack up quite a few stamps in the old passport over the years. I actually had to go to the embassy in Jakarta to get more pages put in because I was out of space.
And even with all that jet-setting under my belt (much of it alone in Southeast Asia) I was a little unnerved and uncomfortable with the idea of coming to India alone.
We ALL need to get away once in a while. Often we find these opportunities when our bestie is about to tie the knot, a celebratory break-up occurs, we finally get that raise we worked so hard for, or the girls night just isn’t doing it for ya! These occasions call for celebration!
